01About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Garaijin LLC (“Garaijin”, “we”, “us”) covering this website and the Echo platform. By using either, you agree to them. If you are using Echo for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.

02The Echo beta

Echo is in private beta. Features may change, pause or be removed, and we may limit who can join. Figures, names and companies shown on this website are illustrative sample data, not reports of real transactions or customers.

03Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 to use Echo.
• You must give accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

04Your likeness and consent

You may only record and upload your own face and voice. Creating a model of anyone else is prohibited, even with their permission, unless they hold their own Echo account.

You keep all rights in your likeness. You give Garaijin a limited license to store your recordings, train your model and produce renders only for uses you approve. You can end that license at any time by closing your account; licenses you granted before closing remain valid for their agreed term.

05Licenses between talent and brands

Each approved request creates a license between the talent and the brand, covering the script, placement, regions and term shown in the request. Garaijin provides the platform and the records but is not a party to the creative decisions in that license.

Brands may use a render only within its license. Editing a render to change its meaning, or reusing it outside the agreed scope, is a breach of these terms.

06Acceptable use

You must not use Echo or its outputs to:

• Impersonate anyone, deceive viewers about who is speaking, or commit fraud.
• Produce political, sexual, hateful or harassing content, or anything illegal where it is published.
• Remove, alter or hide watermarks or provenance credentials.
• Reverse engineer the service, scrape it at scale or disrupt it.

07Fees and payouts

Talent sets its own rates. Garaijin charges a platform fee on completed licenses, which will be shown before you agree to anything. Beta participants pay no platform fee. Payouts are made monthly to the method you choose, subject to identity and tax checks.

08Our intellectual property

The Garaijin and Echo names, logos, software and site content belong to Garaijin LLC. These terms do not give you any right to use them except as needed to use the service.

09Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. We are grateful for them all the same.

10Suspension and termination

You can stop using Echo at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

11Disclaimers

The website and beta are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every need.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Garaijin LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13Governing law

Garaijin LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Echo develops. For material changes we will give notice before they take effect.
